About Us

My name is Tom Kinkade and my wife, Cecily, and I are AMSOIL dealers.  We live in Maryville, Tennessee just south of Knoxville. I have always been involved in automobiles, aircraft, boats, motorcycles, and just about anything with a motor, at one time or another.  Like a lot of people, I have especially been interested in making things run better and faster.

I first learned about the value of synthetic lubricants as a pilot in the United States Air Force.  Every jet engine in operation uses synthetic lubricants because of their ability to withstand harsh conditions and last longer.   When I realized that fact, I started using a major brand of synthetic motor oil in my vehicles.
 
That was almost twenty years ago.  I am now an airline Captain and I believe even stronger that synthetic lubricants are superior to petroleum based oils.  But, one thing has changed, that’s the brand I use.

Several years ago I ran across an AMSOIL booth at a boat show and I picked up some literature to learn about AMSOIL.  I had seen the famous AMSOIL logo over the years but I didn’t know anything about AMSOIL.  I studied the information, looked at their website and I decided to try it in one of my cars.  The more I learned about AMSOIL and lubrication in general, the more I became convinced that AMSOIL is the best.  I started using AMSOIL in everything I had.  Before I started using AMSOIL, I was spending a lot of time and money keeping the oil changed in four vehicles.  I was really pleased with the long drain intervals AMSOIL provided and the time and money I saved.   After a few years as a loyal customer, I became a dealer. 

We have a good time showing folks the value of AMSOIL.  I hope this website can help you see the value also.  If you enjoy saving money at the same time as using the best products, you’ll enjoy AMSOIL too.

We are looking for more Dealers to help us spread the AMSOIL word.  We can help you get started by telling you about our successes and failures.  The cost is minimal but the gains are great.
